JOHN FOX HONORED. John Fox, whose business connections lie largely in the line of water supplies, such as pipe, hydrants and the like, was honored the other night by the members of the National Democratic club, of which he is the president, in the clubhouse, No. 657 Fifth avenue, Manhattan, New York. The members of the board of governors of the club showed a further appreciation of the merits of their guest by presenting him with a handsome silver loving cup, suitably inscribed. Among those who spoke were Cord Meyer. Morgan J. O’Brien. Thomas F. Grady, Martin W. Littleton, Patrick H. Murphy and John W. Keller. The members mustered in great force at the dinner, and Tammany Hall sent a large representation.
