An amusing paragraph appears in a local paper of Parkersburg, W. Va., which says: Mcetectsc, Wyo., has built a new waterworks plant. The supply is pure and abundant. Atlanta, Ga., will lay no more 6-in. water mains in the city. For the future all will be larger. The Trenton, N. J., Waterpower company has been sold to Victor Humbrecht, of Philadelphia. A satisfactory test has been made of the recently completed water works plant at Ames, la. HI Dorado, Kan., claims to have saved $36,293 during 1906, by owning its own waterworks system. Vernon E. Serrine has been appointed secretary of the board of water commissioners of Elgin, Ill. A 60,000-gal. pump,with a gasoline pumping engine will soon be installed…
