WATER NOTES FROM INDIANAPOLIS. There has been good inquiry for bonds of the Indianapolis Water company listed on the local exchange. There have also been offers of these bonds, perhaps, as frequently as of any bonds in the local list. Brokers say the demand cannot be generally supplied at prevailing prices.—The Indianapolis Water company was incorporated in 188r to supply water to Indianapolis. It has been enlarged several times since then, and has, at present, a complete system of pumping and filtration by sandbeds, capable of supplying all the city more than three times the quantity of water now used every day. ‘The company operates over 285 miles of water mains in Indianapolis and suburbs. It also owns water rights along White river and Fall creek at almost every available point within ten* miles of the city.—Three millions of dollars of general mortgage bonds of the Indianapolis Water company have…
