The officers of the Michigan State Firemen’s association elected at the recent annual convention held at Detroit, to ssrve during 1907 08, were as follows; President, Chief Hugo R. Deffs, Lansing; first vicepresident, Chief Thomas Murray, Traverse City; second vicepresident, Edward A. Bates, Detroit; third vicepresident, Chief O. W. Tripps, Ludington; secretary-treasurer, A. P. lane, Ithaca; chaplain, the Rev. Edward Collins. Detroit; statistician, Sam Robinson, Charlotte. Ludington is to have next year’s convention.
