PERSONAL. R. J. Grantham, city engineer and superintendent of waterworks at Wilson, N. C., was in the city last week looking into designs and obtaining estimates for machinery for the improve ment of the waterworks of his city. Former Governor Foster Voorhees, of Elizabeth. N. J., has been elected president of the State potable water commission and George F. Wright, secretary. Carlos Gressle, a plumber of Hamilton. Ohio, has been elected superintendent of that city’s waterworks system. R. A. Greer has been elected president and P. T. White, treasurer of the newly organised Beaumont, Tex., Water company, which has taken over the plant from W. C. Teter, of New York city. Ignacio Bonillas has been elected president and L. Ephraim, secretary of the Nogales. Ariz., Water company, with George Narbreth as manager.
