P, Tuthill and others have a thirty-year franchise for a waterworks system. Middletown, Ill., is installing a $5,000 system for fire protection and general use. The franchise for a waterworks system for Anna, 111., has been granted to George Sanford. A modern waterworks system with sufficient pressure to meet any emergency is being built at Thompson, Mont. Two wells have been sunk and others will be put down to furnish a pure supply to the whole of Sullivan, Ind.
