AN OCTOGENARIAN DIES. The death is announced of Frank E. Drake, formerly of Chicopee, Mass., who had recently been living at Columbus, Ohio. He was born in August, 1827, and went to Chicopee in 1850, where he spent the greater portion of his life. He moved thence, first to Columbus, Ohio. For many years he was one of the most popular citizens of Chicopee and had held for a long time the office of chief engineer of that city’s volunteer fire department. He was a thirty-second degree Mason and a member of Chicopee lodge F. & A. M. and the Springfield commandery.
