FIRE AND WATER ENGINEERING The publishers of technical newspapers are moving uptown or nearer the business centre of this great city. The Pennsylvania Railway depot will be at Thirty-fourth street and Seventh avenue, and such journals as the Herald and Times have already located in that vicinity. The tendency is to be in the neighborhood of this great institution. The publishers of the Electrical World, Engineering Record, Street Railway Journal, the Plumbers’ Journal and others arc now located near Thirty-fourth street. The publishers of FIRE AND WATER ENGINEERING have, therefore, decided to keep in touch with this advanced idea, and from and after February i, will change its publication offices to 136-138 West Twenty-second street, Manhattan, one block from Twenty-third street L station and four blocks from the subway.
