It will cost Rome, Ga., $33,000 to extend its mains. To extend the mains at Quincy, Ill., will cost $7,000. The cost of the new dam to be built for Geneva, Ohio, will be $10,000. The new auxiliary water supply of Newburyport, Mass., will cost $75,000. A water supply system at Fort William Seward, Alaska, has been contracted for. The Worcester, Mass., water department has contracted for $34,000 worth of water pipe. During 1908, Palmerston, Ont., will probably spend $35,000 on waterworks extensions. Work is progressing on the Eunice, La., waterworks, and it is expected to be completed shortly. Fort Ethan Allen, Vt., has contracted for piping wells for the airshaft. The cost will be $4,37i.
