Connecticut State Fire Chiefs Meet. The annual meeting of the Connecticut FireChiefs’ club was held on September 8 in the lodgeroom of the Masonic Temple, and was attended by about forty members, with President Albert C. Hendrick, of New Haven, in the chair. The reports of Secretary Rufus R. Fancher, of New Haven and Treasurer Samuel C. Snagg, of Waterbury, were read. The latter showed a balance of $70 in the treasury. The history of the club since it was founded, in 1902, in Bridgeport. was made the subject of an interesting paper by President Hendrick. There have been five deaths, and there are now eighty members. He spoke in a general way of the benefits of the organisation.
