The new artesian well at Granger, Tex., is 2,373 ft. deep. Teague, Tex., has contracted for a waterworks system at $36,500. San Bernardino, Cal., is laying a large amount of 8-in. pipe. Orillia, Ont., will extend its waterworks system at a cost of $10,000. Worcester, Mass., has 141,053 water takers, and 2,309 who are not supplied. Easthampton, Mass., will add to its water supply at an estimated cost of $32,000. If the people so vote, Verdigris, Nev., will bond itself for a waterworks system. The suburbs of Nashville, Tenn., will have to be supplied with water at a cost of $60,000. New systems of sewerage and waterworks are being installed at Gothenburg, Neb.
