Annual Meeting of the New England Water, works Association. The annual meeting of the New England Waterworks association was held at the hotel Brunswick, Boston, on Wednesday, the 13th instant. The usual large attendance was present, and President Martin handed over the gavel for the next twelve months to his successor, Robert J. Thomas, superintendent of Lowell, Mass. After luncheon, business was proceeded with in the regular order laid down in the program. The paper on “Informal description of the waterworks of Havana,” illustrated, by Bertram Brewer, city engineer, of Waltham, Mass., proved very interesting, and the author was liberally applauded. This was followed by an address of the retiring president, which was a reference to the good work of the association for the past year.
