Huntington Waterworks. H. L. Grupe, superintendent of the waterworks system of Huntington, Ind., writes that up to September 3, 1908, there had been installed a new pumping plant with a 50-h. p. electric motor. Seven wells had been drilled—4, 300 ft. in depth; 1, 500 ft., and 2 225 ft.—besides 2-stage centrifugal pumps, the capacity of which is 500 gal. per minute.
