Building Ordinance at Little Rock. The present building ordinance is said to be entirely inadequate for a city the size of Little Rock, Ark. It is claimed that it is entirely too rigid and is meant only to cover a small strictly business district. It does not allow of exceptions and will not suffice in a mixed business and residence district. Before the fire limits can be extended as proposed, a new building ordinance of a much more elas tic character and suited to the needs of a city like Little Rock must be enacted, which the present ordinance is not.
