New Protective Auto for Boston. The Boston protective department added another auto-wagon to their equipment, and now has two auto-wagons and four horse-drawn vehicles. The new auto carries to men and 25 rubber blankets. The engine is of 25-40 horsepower and gives a speed of about 30 miles an hour when loaded. This machine is under command of Capt. J J. McCarthy. His district includes Roxbtiry. West Roxbtiry, Dorchester. Jamaica Plain and Brighton.
