Northern Central New York Firemen. The fourteenth annual convention of the Northern Central New York Volunteer Foremen’s Association was held in Port Byron August 5 with about 80 delegates in attendance. Newark was selected as the place for holding the next convention, and the following officers were elected. President, James M. Pitkin, of Newark; secretary, Thomas J. Heaver, of Pittsford; treasurer, A. T. Robinson, of Newark; vice-presidents, P. A. Welch, Fairport; John Vosteen, of Lyons; Henry Agnevv, of Jordan; Charles Townsend, of Weedsport; executive committee, A. li. Whittleton, of East Rochester; George Griffin, of Palmyra; W. P. Stilwell, of Port Byron; 11. B. Bond, of Jordan. The parade was participated in by the fire companies of Fairport, Clyde, Hewford Lyons, East Rochestci, Weedsport, Newark, Macedon, Jordan, Palmyra anti Port Byron.
