Colorado Municipalities End Water War. Early in the summer there was open armed warfare between Colorado Springs and Victor. Colorado, over the water supply claimed by both cities. How men from Victor went by night and overpowered the Colorado Springs watchmen at the reservoir and diverted many thousand gallons to Victor has already been told in FIRE AND WATER ENGINEERING. Now, however, the matter has apparently come to an amicable settlement. The city councils of both cities have accepted an agreement prepared by the counsel for the two places, and the mayors and clerks of the respective municipalities have signed it, and the document has been filed in the district court of Pueblo county, together with a request for a formal decree in the case of Victor vs. Colorado Springs on the basis of the stipulations.
