INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF FIRE ENGINEERS CONVENTION Stenographic Report of the Proceedings at Grand Rapids FIRST DAY-AFTERNOON SESSION. President Tyson called the convention to order. Communications were received from Clarence Morris at Cleveland, who was taken sick on the way. Expressing regret at not being able to be present, and from the Grand Rapids city Librarian inviting the chiefs to make use of the library and the reading room. These communications were ordered spread on the minutes. PRESIDENT TYSON: The topics are the next order of business, and I will call for Topic No. X. No response being made to the call, and some delegate stating that Chief Wallace of Cleveland was absent, Topic No. 1 was passed.
