Separate Maintenance of Waterworks Profitable. In the annual city reports for the various departments of the municipal government of Nashville, Tenn., is contained the following statement by Water Tax Assessor Morton relative to the fiscal administration of the waterworks. He says: “I further beg to call the attention of your body to the excellent results in the saving of water which have been produced by the operation of the ordinance requiring all departments of the city government to be charged for the water furnished to them by tlfe city of Nashville.
