J., has accepted its new municipal water supply system and issued $30,000 bonds to pay for it. Jackson, Miss., which has two pumps, each of 3,000,000 gallons daily capacity, is installing a third 6.000,000-gallon engine. It is expected that the Cincinnati Waterworks will show a balance of $40,000 to its credit, at the close of the current year. The Sacramento County Water Company, capital $2,000,000, with offices in San Francisco, Cal., has filed application for dissolution. The use of Saginaw river water, for the consumption of that city, is opposed by the mayor, who says that it will be impossible to avoid its contamination.
