The water company of Des Moines, Ia., announces its readiness to sell the plant to the city. Alliance, Ohio, reports a gain of $6,000 in receipts for water rates for 1900, so far over 1908. The question of municipal waterworks is being much debated in East Youngstown, Ohio. Dover, Del., has found an excellent supply of good water by boring artesian wells to a depth of HOT feet. East Alton, Ill., will increase its valuation to enable it to issue $12,000 bonds to pay for a water supply system. Vallejo, Cal., had a revenue last year of $235,Of this amount the water supply system furnished $57,012. I.a Grande.
