Destructive Fire In Pittsburg. A fire that completed the destruction of the premises in which it originated, in spite of the presence of an efficient firefighting force, is reported from Pittsburg, Pa. It occurred in the plant of the Kratzer Construction Company, located at Thirty-second and Smallman streets and occupying one and two-story buildings, 120 x 150 feet. The structures were of iron and wood, about ten years old and were not equipped with sprinklers. The headway the fire had gained by the time the fire apparatus arrived, probably occounts for its complete destruction, the correspondent of this journal, describing the entire building as in flames when the firemen reached the scene. Six steam fire engines, one AmericanLa France and five Amoskeag, six hose carts and two hook and ladder trucks, were promptly on hand.
