The Woodhouse Manufacturing Company. Twenty years ago the Woodhouse Manufacturing Company was as much in evidence as it is today. Then it had a large warehouse on Barclay street and the present head of the firm, Daniel A. Woodhouse, managed its affairs. Gradually the concern has grown until it now occupies a large store at 50 West Broadway, Manhattan and the same genial proprietor, looking the same as twenty years ago, reigns over its destinies. Besides carrying a large and varied supply of fire appliances of the latest designs, the company is agent for the Nott Fire Engine Company, of Minneapolis; the Webb Motor Fire Apparatus Company, the Pyrene Company and other manufacturers of fire apparatus and supplies.
