SOME IMPORTANT WATERWORKS ITEMS Passadena, Cal., will vote on an issue of $1,200,000 bonds, for the purchase of its water supply plant. The Eureka Springs, Ark., Water Company’s plant has been sold to R. F. Scott, of Paris, Tex., as trustee, for $17,500. Willacoochee, Ga., has a new waterworks plant, completed at a cost to the city of $14,000, by the J. B. McCrany Company, Atlanta, Ga. Star City, Ark., will go down 800 feet, at a cost of $3,500, for water and a supply of 75,000 gallons daily is guaranteed by the contractors. Wilton, la., has closed a contract for the drilling of a well about 1,500 feet in depth, which must furnish two hundred gallons of water per minute. The city of Cortland, N. Y.. has taken pos session of the waterworks, under municipal ownership, having purchased the plant for $300,000. To meet the cost of extensive contemplated…
