Colorado Springs Fire Report. The report of Chief P. D. McCartin, of Colorado Springs, Colo., for the year 1909. shows that the total fire loss for the year was $70,473. This was divided as follows: Insured loss on buildings. $12,606.39: on contents. $33,738.89: uninsured loss on buildings, $335; on contents, $3,792.72. The total amount of insurance was $764,950. of which $444,050 was on the buildings and $320,900 on the contents. Over 1,000 miles was covered by the fire department during the year. Out of 206 alarms. 22 were false. Over 26.000 feet of hose was laid and 896 gallons of chemical were used.
