Hamilton, Can., will equip it’s department with smoke-protectors. The new fire alarm system at Covington, Ky., has been completed. A recent test proved the Rutland, Vt., hydrants to be in good condition. The Massapequa, N. Y., fire department has just been incorporated. Carl Mason is the new chief of the Kendallville, Ind., fire department. The volunteer company of Dayton, Ohio, has voted to incorporate. Augusta, Ga., is getting up a roster of all the old volunteer companies. The Bristol, Pa., department lost eleven of it’s members by death in 1909. The San Diego, Cal., department has installed a Rambler motor hose truck. W. R. Collins has been named as chief of the Bristol, Tenn., fire department.
