WEEKLY EPITOME OF CURRENT EVENTS IN THE FIRE SERVICE The removal of the engine house at Massachusetts avenue and New York street, Indianapolis, Ind., where the headquarters of the Indianapolis fire department is located, to some other location is likely to be carried out. Fire in Wilmington, Del., destroyed one of two large storage warehouses of the Seaboard Air Line and adjoining sheds. The loss is approxifinitely $160,000. The Norwegian steamship Herman Wedel Jarisberg, lying at the dock, was saved by a crew from the revenue cutter Seminole and harbor tugs. The Dismore hose company, of Staatsburgh, N. Y., has added a new combination hook and ladder and hose apparatus to its equipment, which now includes eight extinguishers, besides ladders, hose and necessary tools.
