Killed by Hose Wagon Truck. Call Fireman Harry J. Neals, of the Everett, Mass., department, was run over by a hose wagon attached to the company to which he belonged and died in a hospital three hours later. Neale and another fireman, W. B. Parker, were late in arriving at the fire and attempted to get aboard the apparatus after it had started for headquarters. Parker jumped on the step on one side of the wagon and Neale threw his coat onto the apparatus and made a jump for the other side. He missed his footing and fell and struck his head on the iron step. He was partially stunned and sustained a cut on the back of the head. The rear wheel passed over his lungs and chest before the others had realized what had happened.
