CENTRAL STATES WATERWORKS ASSOCIATION. The Central States Water Works Association held its fourteenth annual meeting at the Claypool hotel, Indianapolis, Ind., on September 20 to 22, 1910. This association was organized some fourteen years ago in response to what was felt to be a need for an association of waterworks men from the populous states of the middle west who by having a shorter distance to go to attend annual meetings could leave their business with less sacrifice of time and money. It was also considered by the founders of the association that it might be made a clearing-house for ideas contributed by men connected with the smaller plants and who were possibly more directly in touch with the active management of the details of the business, and to whom the supply people could exhibit their goods, knowing that the men would see then who would be brought into closest…
