Fire Loss in Kansas City. Fire losses in Kansas City, Mo., did not reach a record mark during 1910. although, according to the statistics at fire headquarters the total loss ON buildings and contents reached over $1,000,000. The official figures for the first eleven months showed a total loss of $1,056,585, and an estimate of the loss for December, which has been comparatively small, probably will swell the loss to $1,100,000. According to the property involved, and compared with the preceding year, the loss was much greater. A new record was made, however, in the number of fires for the year, an average of over seven each day.
