To Condemn Paterson Water Rights. Justice Minturn, of Paterson, N. J., has appointed William W. Watson, District Court Judge of Passaic: William I. Lewis. District Court Judge of Paterson, and former Sheriff Charles Berger of Paterson, as a commission to condemn Paterson’s water rights in the Passaic. Seven municipalities and water companies had filed petitions for the appointment of the commission. The beginning of the proceedings resulted in the inability of the municipalities to reach any agreement with the mayor and aidermen of Paterson as to compensation for the right of taking their water supply from the Passaic river. Charles L. Corbin and former Senator Edwards, representing the water company, declared that such a commission was not only necessary but urgent. In objecting to this John W. Griggs. William B.
