Niagara Falls Fire Department Report. Fire Chief Otto Utz, in his annual report sub milted to the hoard of lire commissioners of Niagara Falls, N. Y., recommends the construction of a new fire hall in the newly-opened industrial section at the north end of the city to be fuly equipped with suitable fire lighting apparatus. He also recommends the building of a new hall on the site of the Third street house, which is not only inadequate to the needs of the department, but is also wholly out of date. The chief renewed his recommendation for two more steamers and a combination hose and chemical wagon. Inasmuch as all vehicles in use by the department except the steamer and two service trucks are equipped with rubber tires, the chief asks that his apparatus be similarly equipped.
