C. McCurdy has resigned the position of chief at Moosomin, Sask., a position which he has filled for the past six years. Danville, I11, has purchased an automobile fire apparatus. Chief Bratton is increasing the efficiency of his department in many ways. The trustees of El Sentro City, Cal., have decided to pay members of the volunteer fire company at the rate of one dollar an hour when out on fire calls.
