Convention Notes. The arrangements made by the Manufacturers’ Association were very complete, and met with the appreciation of those who enjoyed its hospitality. The invaluable services rendered by Mr. George E. Cripps, of the local waterworks department, in looking after the comfort and welfare of the delegates, cannot be overestimated. It is seldom such earnest work is performed at functions of this kind. Mr. McLean, superintendent of Edmonton, Canada. was accompanied by Mrs. McLean, a bride of a few days. The presidency of Mr. John W. Alvord will long be rememliered as one of the best the association has had. The fine souvenir edition of FIRE AND WATER FINLINEERING was, as usual, eagerly sought for, the large supply of copies on hand being captured long before the convention ended.
