St. Paul to Improve Water System. Secretary Caulfield, of the St. Paul, Minn., water hoard, has sent to City Engineer Claussen a copy of the board’s resolution asking the engineer to prepare plans for two new reservoirs, one on the low service at McCarron lake, and one at the high service reservoir site on Dale street extended. If the recommendations of the hoard are carried out, it is probable that the board will spend next year between $250,000 and $3oo,000 for new reservoirs. Mr. Claussen says Inwill take up at once the work of preparing plans In all probability the reservoirs will be built of reinforced concrete, and they will have as great a capacity as the sites will permit. The water hoard has 15.14 acres at the Dale street high service reservoir, a portion of which is already occupied as a reservoir site. This reservoir contains something more than…
