FIRE AND WATER ENGINEERING With the next issue of Fire and Water Engineering it will enter upon its thirty-fifth year of publication. Like most journals, it takes a certain degree of pride in pausing long enough to take a retrospective glance over its career, but waiving this privilege now, it desires merely to call attention to a few features which it alone possesses. It is not necessary to allude to its steady and healthy growth from the date of its first issue, as this is familiar to the thousands who have for years read its pages weekly.
