Motor Fire Apparatus The Lincoln, Ill., fire department plans adding a motor truck to the present equipment. Jefferson City, Mo., may adopt motor equipment in its fire department. Cleveland, O., will shortly purchase a combination auto chemical engine and hose wagon. A new auto chemical engine will be added to the Covington, Ky., fire department. Safety Director Porter, of Philadelphia, Pa., has purchased an auto tool truck for the high pressure fire system. Chief John Thompson, of Toronto, Ont., has recommended that three auto combination chemical engines and hose wagons be secured. The firemen of Monmouth, N. J., will go before the Borough Council shortly to urge that body to purchase an auto pumping engine. The Stroudsburg, Pa., council has purchased an automobile chemical engine.
