Water Meter Evolution Under the head. “Water Meter Evolution,” the National Meter Company sets forth in its printed matter many points interesting in connection with its new magno-seal meters. It says that by the arrangement of two magnets in separate chambers, one connected with the piston and the other with the registering mechanism, the magnetic force which exists between the two magnets is utilized for transmitting the rotation of the piston to the register. In this new principles there is no stuffing, no sweating of dials or other features of this kind found in other designs of meters. The magno-seal meters are of great durability through reduction of the working parts, and a minimum maintenance of cost is assured.
