WATER WORKS NEWS ITEMS Fort Dodge has about 30 miles of main laid. The city of Carlton, Ore., acquired the old water system owned by W. A. Howe. Kennebec, Okla., has nearly completed the installation of its new water works system. Out of a total income of $18,000, the Danville, Ky., water works netted $1,500 profit. Waycross, Ga., is drilling a new well to increase its supply. It will be 700 feet deep. Hobart. Okla., will soon have a new water works system. It will be completed by March 1. Extension to the water works system in Terrel. Tex., consists of about 6,000 feet of four-inch pipe. Henrietta’s, Tex., new reservoir, when completed, will have a capacity of about 35,000,000 gallons. Oil burners have been installed at the plant of the Bartlesville Water Company. Bartlesville, Okla.
