Spring Valley Water Company The Spring Valley Water Company, of San Francisco, in its report for 1912, shows that it has five counties besides that in the city, which are not now actually supplying San Francisco with water, but are capable of development into a source of water supply in the city and country for the future. The report states that last year the company spent $290,675.99 on permanent improvements ($97,723.98 on account of real estate; the balance on extensions of the city’s pine system. $13,879.97; meters installed, $27,219.59), etc. The operating expenses aggregated $779,521.02.
