Dover, N. H., Water Report The annual report of the board of water commissioners of Dover, N. H., shows the total receipts to be $39,177.22, including a balance of $5,477.42 from 1912; the expenditures, $31,481.62. including $5,000 paid toward the reduction of the debt. Cash on hand Dec. 31, 1912, was $7,695.60. The total consumption of water for the year was 201,450,000 gallons, an increase of 5,281,000 gallons over the previous year. The average daily consumption was 550,890 gallons, an increase of 13,441 gallons daily over the quantity used in 1911. The per capita consumption was 41 gallons. The cost of supplying water, per million gallons, figured on total maintenance, was $72.69. The total cost of supplying water, per million gallons, figured on total maintenance plus interest on bonds, was $120.55. The cost of pumping, per million gallons, was $22.75.
