The Seattle Times Fire The following features deserve mention in connection with the fire which caused much damage the Times building and the Denny building at Seattle, Wash., an account of which was printed our issue of March 12. The fire broke out on e third or fourth floor of the Times building near the center, doubtless having been caused by some printer dropping a lighted cigarette or match. It was 3:50 a. m. when a newsboy discvered the flames and caused an alarm to be given from box 204. The building was equipped with extinguishers and there were iron stairway fire escapes. The alarm brought out four Nott engines, three Metropolitans, two Continentals, one Scagrave 80-motor chemical, one AmericanLa France 85-foot aerial truck, one large Seagrave truck and one Robinson city truck.
