FIRE DEPARTMENT IN BIG NEW YORK PARADE Twelve thousand city employes, representing city departments; 13 bands and 558 vehicles, including trucks, floats, ambulances and exhibits of the most modern apparatus now used in the protection of the city, and a line of march six and a half miles long, marked last Saturday’s parade as the most remarkable demonstration of city effi- ciency ever held in America.
