Small Baltimore Fire Well Handled Concerning the fire which recently caused much damage to the building occupied by Esselman & Co., manufacturers of picture frames and mouldings, in Baltimore, Md., a correspondent writes: “The building is located in the southern section of the city and occupies a ground space of two-thirds of a block. It is two stories high and was built about ten years ago. The material used in construction included both brick and wood with partition walls of brick. The fire broke out in the dry. house adjoining the structure, having doubtless been caused by a lighted cigarette or match that had been smoldering for hours. It was 1.45 a. m. when a citizen discovered the flames and an alarm was sent in by a member of the fire department.
