CORRESPONDENCE Unique Plans for Public School Buildings To the Editor: We are building several school houses here now. that looks to me to be a model system for schools, and as your journal is a clearing house for ideas, I want to send you a description and photograph of same. If acceptable, you can publish these with comments, and it may do some good by advancing ideas that will eliminate such disasters as the Collinwood fire. The plan is to build a separate one-story room for each grade, and by putting the heating plant in a separate building the best of light and ventilation are given; also insuring easy egress in case of a lire scare. The playground is enclosed by the buildings and is in the center of the block, tints keeping the children off the street. This plan does not give the civic beauty idea much help, as…
