Wade has resigned as a member of the Los Angeles, Cal., water board. The pumping capacity of the water department in Harvard, Ill., is being enlarged. Ogden river, in Utah, is being patrolled by the city of Ogden, Utah, to prevent its pollution. judge Harry Higbee offers $5,000 to Pittsfield, Ill., to help the city in obtaining a good water supply. The young and growing city of Teague, Tex., is enlarging its water plant to meet the needs of the city.
