Death of Horace G. Holden Horace G. Holden, one of the best known water works men in the United States, died at his home in Nashua, N. H., December 16. He was one of the organizers of the New England Water Works Association and was a regular attendant at the American Water Works Association conventions up to a few years ago. His knowledge of water works construction and management was of a most complete kind, and the papers that he has prepared from time to time were very much appreciated by the members of the local association. Mr. Holden was largely interested in the water works company of his city and was instrumental in bringing the works up to a high point of efficiency.
