MOTOR FIRE APPARATUS FIRE DEPARTMENT INTERESTS Fitchburg, Mass., has ordered a motor chemical hose wagon. Osceola, Ia., has installed a new air pressure pump for its water works. Bango, Fa., has authorized a $10,000 bond issue to purchase motor apparatus. Covina, Cal., will procure a motor combination chemical engine and ladder truck. Beaver Fire Company, of Bristol, Pa., has asked the city council for motor apparatus. Napa, Cal., last week voted a $12,000 bond issue for motor apparatus and hose. San Jose, Cal., will probably purchase a motor pumping engine of the largest capacity. Grand Forks, N. D., will have its truck rebuilt by the Nott Fire Engine Co., of Minneapolis. Cleveland, O., has contracted with the AhrensFox Company for two motor pumping engines. The St. Joseph, Mo., fire department is using a new kind of light “dimmers” on its motor apparatus.
