FILTRATION The new filters at the Raleigh, N. C., water plant have been completed, and are now being connected with the settling basin. It is expected that all of its work will be finished by the first of the year. The New Albany, Ind., water company will be given a hearing before the Indiana State board of health in Indianapolis on the recent recommendation of the board that the company install a filter plant in connection with the New Albany water system. Justice Maddox has signed a modified order which gives to the officers of the Moore Filter Company, of New York City, full authority to continue the business of the concern.
