Portable Gasoline Calking Machine The accompanying illustration shows a novel portable gasoline combination pneumatic plant for calking lead joints in gas and water pipes. The pneumatic calking tool receives its air power from the pneumatic compressor mounted on an iron truck. The plant consists of a gasoline engine of 5-horsepower and a hopper water cooler, combined with a compressor 4 1/2 by 6 inches, air cooled. The outfit has a height of 43 inches and a length of 43 inches with a width of 39 inches. The air tank measures 20 inches in diameter by 5 feet high. The entire length of air plant is 6 feet and it has a total weight of 1,650 pounds. The front wheels are 12 inches and the rear wheels 16 inches in diameter and the face of wheel 4 1/2 inches.
